Is your fear keeping you from living?

Fear (noun) - an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat.

Key word: belief.

What we believe makes us who we are. I sure was stubborn about my convictions...before.

Before I allowed the constant put-downs and abuse of other people to wear me down until I was just a shell of a person. A nothing really.

Have you lost who you once were? Do you ever say things you "used to" do? I "used to" go out more. I "used to" have hobbies that I enjoyed, but there is no joy in it anymore. I "used to" go to the beach everyday. After all, that is why I moved to Florida. Even God's masterpiece could not satisfy after a while. I was just, well, dead inside, and it was starting to show through to the outside, the physical.

I let the fear of the verbal slurs bring me down. I let my brother's death kill me inside.

Fear - there is no need for it. Most of the time our fears and anxious thoughts never even come about. They invade the mind and take over what were once happy, joyful, and positive thoughts.

I've been down, I've been low, I've been where I just couldn't wait for those Pearly Gates to open for me. But they haven't yet.

Don't ever let "them" wear you down like I did. It took a lot of time and work on my part, but life is coming back to me, and I am seeing that I have a purpose and a point to each day.

Now I just want to help others to be liberated from their fears and anxieties because life is not supposed to be miserable.

Yeah, I write about depression, anxiety, and many disorders. To those who've never gone through it, it might seem negative. However, it truly is hell to dread waking up because you have to face the day and go out just to act like you feel alive and are a part of the world.

If you can relate to me, let's talk.

I will give you tools to free yourself of anxiety, depression, and fear through faith and a good sense of humor.

We are not supposed to be miserable. Every moment of your life should be quality, spending time being your true self.

As my brother used to say, "Make It Count!"
