If you could see what I feel, if anxiety, sadness, and loneliness were physical wounds that decorate my body in red lines and purple marks, would you be shocked at how bloody and bruised I really am?”

This is your child speaking, crying out for help.
You’re tired of your child being bullied and suffering anxiety and depression because of it.
You’re hurting because your child is hurting.
You see them changing, isolating, angry, acting out or not speaking at all, not eating, eating too much, reverting to things they did in childhood, having panic attacks…
You crave a happy life for your child. One filled with peace and love.
But you cannot control people and the way they treat each other.
“Kids are kids,” some say, “They’ll get over it,” and you are not buying that.
You know your child does not have to live a miserable existence. You want them to thrive and enjoy their life.
You just feel stuck and alone.
“It is the smile of a child that makes life worth living.”
See your child smile and laugh again.
In our talks and books, my dad and I teach social emotional learning (SEL) which benefits communities, families, and children.
Our children’s books teach acceptance and loving-kindness through the eyes of two senior rescue dogs, one with three legs and the other a low-riding dachshund.
They experience being bullied, having anxiety, moving, loss of a loved one, and through it all they control how they respond.
Dad and I speak from experience. Together, Dad and I have battled my depression, anxiety, eating disorders, being bullied, and all the other issues that come along with these problems.
My dad coached and taught for almost forty years, and he uses his time on the field, the court, and in the classroom to speak and write about working with and getting to know kids and learn about their lives.
Through our books and speeches, we help you learn to live life in a positive way, not worried about what others are saying, and overcoming any issue you may face.
My dad and I are here to tell you that there is hope for you and your child.
Through our speaking engagements and books, we help you:
Acquire tools for your child to overcome their fears and truly live.
Work together with your child and have a closer bond than ever before.
Shift your child’s responses to others to more positive ones, so they will be less anxious.
Kids who read our books and listen to our talks about them are learning that they choose how they react to things and people and that they have control of their emotions.
A group of five second graders chose to stay with at-home learning when students were given the choice to go back to school or continue at home because of the pandemic. These five youngsters read our book, The Life and Canine Times of Pee Wee and Buddy, and, when asked what they thought the book was about, said that Pee Wee and Buddy teach acceptance, how to treat others with kindness, and to always be honest and loyal in your friendships.
A young girl who was being bullied for speaking Spanish recently read our book and smiled after learning how the characters were true to themselves and did not have to let the bullies phase them.
